چکیده

The IEEE 12th International Conference on Software Testing, Verification & Validation (ICST 2019) was held in Xi'an, China. aim of the ICST conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners who study theory, techniques, technologies, applications that concern all aspects software testing, verification, validation systems. program committee rigorously reviewed 110 full papers using a double-blind reviewing policy. Each paper received at least three regular reviews went through discussion phase where reviewers made final decisions each paper, being led by meta-reviewer. Out this process, selected 31 full-length appeared conference. These were presented over nine sessions ranging from classical topics such as test generation coverage emerging machine learning security during main track. Based original reviewers' feedback, we five for consideration special issue STVR. extended their version authors according standard STVR process. We thank hard work. Three successfully completed review process are contained issue. rest editorial provides brief overview these papers. first Automated Visual Classification DOM-based Presentation Failure Reports Responsive Web Pages, Ibrahim Althomali, Gregory Kapfhammer, Phil McMinn, introduces VERVE, tool automatically classifies detect response layout failures (RLFs) web applications. An empirical reveals VERVE's classification types RLFs frequently agrees with classifications produced manually humans. second BugsJS: A Benchmark Taxonomy JavaScript Bugs, Péter Gyimesi, Béla Vancsics, Andrea Stocco, Davood Mazinanian, Árpád Beszédes, Rudolf Ferenc, Ali Mesbah, presents, BugsJS, benchmark 453 real, validated bugs 10 popular server-side programs, comprising 444 k LOC total. bug accompanied its report, cases expose it, well patch fixes it. BugJS can help facilitate reproducible studies comparisons analysis testing tools. third Statically Driven Generation Concurrent Tests Thread-Safe Classes, Valerio Terragni Mauro Pezzè presents DEPCON+, novel approach reduces search space concurrent tests leveraging statically computed dependencies among public methods. DEPCON+ exploits intuition thread-safety violations manifest exceptions or deadlocks, only if they exercise some specific method dependencies. results show more effective than state-of-the-art approaches exposing concurrency faults.

On the Verification of VDM Specification and Refinement with PVS - Automated Software Engineering, 1997. Proceedings., 12th IEEE International Conference

Although the formal method VDM has been in existence since the 1970S, there are still no satisfactory tools to support verqkation in VDM. This paper deals with one possible means of approaching this problem by using the PVS theorem-prover It describes a translation of a VDM-SL speciJication into the PVS specification language using, essentially, the very transparent translation methods describe...
